About Us

Patrick Gaines, principal of Gaines Government Services, has over 19 years of experience working the halls of the Oklahoma Capitol and Washington DC. Gaines has served as a House staffer, Legislative Director for the State Insurance Commissioner, as well as other top executive position around political circles in Oklahoma. His history in Oklahoma politics has allowed him to form long-lasting relationships at the Capitol to accomplish the goals of our clients.



Wendy J. Gerdes was raised in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University with a Landscape Design degree. After moving to Oklahoma she co-owned Gerdes Garden Center in Edmond for 12 years.  The last four years she has served as Executive Director of the Oklahoma Nursery & Landscape Association and the Oklahoma Greenhouse Growers Association.   She has extensive experience in association management and vendor relations.
